While serving at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), Betsy wrote many articles related to military Life Cycle Logistics, a functional area that spans the system life cycle. It encompasses acquisition and sustainment activities, and includes professionals responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing effective and affordable product-support strategies for weapons, materiel, or information systems.
She wrote several articles that were published in the Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) Magazine. They are as follows:
- Performance Based Logistics for Achieving Affordable Readiness, Jan – Feb 2015 Issue (co-written with Knob Moses)
- Where Do You Go From Here? Guidance for the Product Support Manager, July 2018 Issue
She was also responsible for the upkeep of the Life Cycle Logistics articles housed in the on-line DAU ACQuipedia, a resource used extensively by the Defense Acquisition Workforce.
